DIGILOG at ECIR2026

29.03.2026

We recently had the opportunity to participate in ECIR 2026 in Delft, where Jasmin Saxer presented our paper on "Website segmentation beyond structure: a benchmark on functional and digital maturity classes" .

The paper introduces a new benchmark built on a dataset we developed and publicly released. Rather than focusing solely on website structure, our work proposes a functional perspective on website segmentation, offering a clearer way to analyze how websites operate and how they progress across different levels of digital maturity. This benchmark is intended to support more meaningful evaluation and comparison of website analysis methods.

In addition to the scientific program, ECIR 2026 provided an excellent setting for engaging discussions and knowledge exchange. It was a pleasure to connect with the information retrieval community and to meet many inspiring and talented researchers.
